SUFFOLK DIRECTORS OF GUIDANCE

 Mission Statement: “To establish a professional learning community that fosters communication, collaboration, and commitment to the school counseling profession. Our goal is to provide a supportive environment that enables counseling administrators to exchange ideas, share best practices, and remain current with local, state, and federal regulations.”

The organization was created to establish relationships among guidance supervisors representing school districts across Long Island. Meetings are held several times throughout the year and are hosted by various colleges and other educationally-related sponsors. We look forward to a successful school year and encourage new members to join our affiliation.
